Villarreal are locked in talks with San Lorenzo for midfielder Gonzalo Bergessio.

San Lorenzo rated Bergessio in the £4 million class, while Villarreal have so far offered £2.5 million.

Villarreal chief Jose Manuel Llaneza has been in regular contact with San Lorenzo this year over Bergessio's situation.
