Hammarby forward Charlie Davies is on the verge of signing for a French club according to his agent Lyle Yorks.

"We are in serious discussions with a French team, and they are in serious discussions with Hammarby over a fee,"
Yorks told Soccer365.

"There is also one Bundesliga club in the discussion, but I think he will go to France. We are hoping to have this done in the next five days."

The U.S. international looks set to land at Rennes, Saint-Etienne or Sochaux.
